Liason Meetings
The first Community Liason meeting was held on July 19th from 4:00-5:30 PM.
The second meeting was held on August 1, from 4:00-5:30 PM.
The 3rd was held on August 16th from 5:00-6:30.
As a part of developing a community-led process for co-designing the 26th Avenue Corridor from the Mississippi River to Theodore Wirth Park, the meeting participants will address the following questions:
● How to respond to community design burn out
● In developing a community-led process, in partnership with the university, how should we proceed?
● Missing organizations?
● Types of organizational participation (varying degrees of investment from research team membership to assisting with publicity)?
● What are the best activities for community engagement?
Organizations are invited to participate and send one or two representatives to future liason meetings. Contact Julia Robinson robin003@umn.edu
